At Fraco, we understand your need for safe and reliable vertical transportation of the personnel, tools and materials needed to build, inspect and maintain bridges. Whether it is to access the highest parts of a bridge or for work on the pillars or bridge deck, Fraco offers a complete line of work platforms, temporary elevators and permanent elevators, adapted to the specifics of each project.

Elevators and Lifts for All Types of Bridges

  • Permanent elevators inside suspension bridge tower
  • Permanent elevators inside the cable-stayed bridge pylons
  • Temporary elevators for access to the different levels of the pylons during construction phase
  • Work platforms for the installation and repair of cables
  • Working platforms for work on piers, pylons and main span segments
  • Access equipment for steel counterweight bridges
  • Access system for mobile steel bridges and heavy movable structures.

High-Performance Access Equipment

The permanent elevators of the SEL Series can be installed in a limited space. Fraco offers a variety of standard and custom cabin dimensions, with lifting capabilities from 500 lb to 7000 lb, with lifting speeds of up to 300 feet per minute.

Fraco also offers temporary elevators for transporting workers and materials. Designed to minimize on-site interruptions, the SEH Series construction elevators and the SEP Series transport platforms are available in multiple size-capacity-speed combinations.

Mast climbing work platforms are ultimately a third type of equipment that is useful when building a new bridge or repairing an existing structure. These platforms have long been proven in work to extend the lifespan of concrete pillars.

Fraco products comply with industry codes and current safety guidelines:
