Highways and Interchanges

Fraco equipment has long proven to be effective in inspecting and repairing concrete structures; the structures that make up motorway interchanges are no exception. The needs for safe and reliable vertical transport of personnel, tools and materials are the same as for bridges. Whether it is to access the highest parts of a deck or for work at the pillars and beams, Fraco offers a complete line of work platforms and temporary elevators, adapted to the specifics of each project.

Work Platforms and Elevators that Adapt to the Road Network

  • Temporary elevators for access to box girders and concrete decks
  • Work platforms for inspection and repair of concrete beams and portals
  • Work platforms for repair works and/or strengthening of lower hollows of box girders
  • Work platforms for concrete formworks installation on pillars and box girders
  • Work platforms for concrete formworks installation underneath bridge decks

High-Performance Access Equipment

Fraco also offers temporary elevators for transporting workers and materials. Designed to minimize on-site interruptions, the SEH Series construction elevators and the SEP Series transport platforms are available in multiple size-capacity-speed combinations.

Mast climbing work platforms are a useful type of equipment for the construction or repair of concrete pillars to ensure the use of a highway interchange.

Compliance with Industry Standards

Fraco products comply with industry codes and current safety guidelines:
